Service Overview
For Intermec software customers that require a higher degree of long term support, we offer our Premier Software Support Agreements (PSSA). These agreements provide a program that allows Intermec to provide on-going and long term support for our installed base of custom applications. The foundation of a PSSA is the dedicated Premier Support Technical Consultant (PSTC) assigned to support the application. The PSTC is the primary point of contact between Intermec and our client, and is responsible for coordinating the on-going software support. The PSTC manages the problem escalation process and acts as the customer’s advocate within Intermec’s software team.
The PSSA encompasses both Reactive Services and Proactive Services:
Reactive Services:
- Issues Resolution
- Bug Fixes
- Service Level Agreements
Proactive Services:
- New features
- Program enhancements
- Roll out support
- Updated documentation
- Training on custom enhancements
- Integrating new technologies
- Porting to new O/S or new hardware
Each PSSA is a unique agreement tailored to meet the business and technology needs of our clients.
